This document provides a project proposal for an Arduino-based laser security system with LCD notification display. The system will use a laser pointer sensor to detect interruptions in a continuous laser beam, trigger an alarm, and display the time and date of the laser being tripped on an LCD monitor. It will make use of an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller and aims to provide home or small business security with minimal equipment needed. Figures 1 and 2 show an overview and block diagram of the system.

This project proposal is about the development of a complete Arduino
based laser security system wherein the system will trigger an alarm once the continuous laser beam that is active is interrupted as well as displaying on a LCD monitor the time and date that the laser was tripped. This system is made to assist home security or any practical security in small businesses or generally to keep a certain area secure with only one entrance an exit with only minimum security needed. This project will make use of the Arduino Uno R3 unit as well as an LCD unit to display information as previously mentioned before and an invisible laser pointer sensor that will act as the main input for the device. There will also be a buzzer that will make a sound once the system detects a disturbance with the laser sensor The laser security system with Arduino Uno is a valuable addition to everyday life as it offers an efficient and dependable means of safeguarding homes and protecting valuable assets. By creating a virtual barrier using laser beams, the system can detect any unauthorized access or tampering, triggering an immediate alarm. This enhances home security and provides peace of mind, ensuring that potential intrusions are detected and addressed promptly. Whether used to deter burglars or to monitor restricted areas, the laser security system with Arduino Uno offers an accessible and versatile solution for maintaining security in various everyday scenarios.
