ABSTRACT

The studies assessed the impact of school environment which affected the pupil’s

academic achievements in Don Albino Taruc Memorial Elementary School (DATMES). A

researcher – made questionnaire was being used to gather the needed data of the study. A set

of questionnaires was given to the participants by the researchers. Frequency and Percentage

Distribution, Mean and standard Deviation and Correlation were used to analyze the data.

Among level/factors of school environment that affects on learning achievement of

the pupils. Data revealed that school location is the factors that affect the academic

achievements of the grade 5 and 6 pupils in DATMES.

Since School location has a significant relationship to the academic performance of

the pupils with r value of 0.65 and p value of 0.0004. It is recommended that school should

maintain the positive school environment and find means and improvement on the factor such

as school location to continuously give the pupils a positive and very good school

environment.

Additionally, School management should provide efficient school environment to

make the pupils motivate, interest and comfortable to come in school to make their learning

performance enhance and improve.
