Тема : “Sport in our life” + Past Continuous
Мета : Розвивати граматичну компетентність, сприяти  вживанню граматики 
в  мовленнєвій  діяльності,  вчити складати мікро діалоги, працювати в парах
та групах, розвивати зорову та слухову пам'ять, логічне мислення, мовну
здогадку, виховувати прагнення вести здоровий спосіб життя.
Очікувані результати : учні знатимуть нову граматичну конструкцію,
зможуть використовувати її в мовленні, розпізнавати та розуміти нові слова
та словосполучення; прочитати текст про спорт у нашому житті.
Обладнання : підручник з англійської мови (6 клас, Карпюк), тематичні
картки, вірш.

Схематичний план уроку :

Організаційний момент – 1 хв.
Уведення іншомовну атмосферу – 4 хв.
Повторення ЛО – 6 хв.
Текстовий етап – 6 хв.
Після текстовий етап – 4 хв.
Розвиток лексичної здогадки – 4 хв.
Граматика – 13 хв.
Закріплення нової граматичної структури – 5 хв.
Пояснення домашнього завдання - 1 хв.
Підведення підсумків уроку – 1 хв.

exercise 1a, read the names of the sports.
T. – Now look at the part be. There is a table, copy it and
sort out the kinds of sports from part a.

Lets’s do the exercise 2. Make up nouns from the words

in the box, as in the example. swim – swimmer
T. – Now, add the ending -ing to the verbs below to male
up names of sport. Example cycle – cycling
T. – Good job. We are going to do exercise 3, but before
doing it keep in mind(the teacher hangs a card on the
board)
Keep in mind!
Use the verbs :
Go - when you talk about sports that end in '-ing'.
I go swimming. You go climbing.
Play - when you talk about ball games.
I play basketball. He plays volleyball.
Do - when you talk about individual sports.
I do athletics. We do aerobics.

T. – So, we are going to learn new tense PAST
CONTINUOUS.
We use it for actions that were in progress at a certain
time it the past. It is formed by the auxiliary verbs
was/were and verb with the ending -ing.
Next, the teacher gives his examples and writes them on
the board. Students repeat the examples.
T. – Now come up with your own examples. Use the
example of this sentence, use our active vocabulary.
Students give examples.
