When Nicola was young, music wasn’t very important in her house. Then, when she was four, she started playing
the violin. In her first lesson, she was so happy! Her dad, Gio, was always at work. He was very responsible. When
he was young his parents didn’t have money and he wanted a very good life for Nicola and her sister.
Nicola’s dad is a businessman, but she’s an artist. Money isn’t very important to her, but it is for Gio. He likes the
music that Nicola plays, but he doesn’t like classical music very much. She teaches him about music, and he tells
her about business.
Nicola and her sister are great friends; they sometimes play together, not professionally, but at family occasions like
Christmas and weddings. Nicola lives for her work. She never wants to stop. Music is her life.
