*I’m a big fan of dogs. If you ask me, they are pure love. We have two dogs at home:
Tinker Bell and Peter. Tinker Bell has got the cutest ears in the whole dog world. She
is a purebred dog, a Corgi. She is quite small. Corgi comes from the Welsh
language: it actually means dwarf dog. Peter is a mongrel. He is adopted. We got
him two years ago from a dog shelter. He is very intelligent and is full of energy.
Every Saturday morning my dad and I go to a nearby dog shelter to take the dogs for
a walk. I’ve got one dog there that I especially love. His name is Captain Cook. Well,
I call him that because he’s lost one paw. But he’s nothing like Captain Cook from
the story of Peter Pan. He’s very friendly. When you tell him to sit for a treat, he gets
ants in his pants. He’s adorable. I hope we can adopt him soon. I think there is
enough space in our garden for three dogs.
