REFLECTION GUIDELINE for SPEAKING (50pts)

Important Note:

1. While answering the following questions, please justify each answer by relating it to the

principles (Dos and Don’ts) of teaching young learners.

2. While writing your reflection reports for Part 1, provide specific examples from the

demos.

Part I (35 pts total)

What have you learned out of DEMOS of teaching “SPEAKING”?

a) What was good about EACH particular demo? (5 pts)

What did they do right? Why were they right? (explain and justify)

b) What was not good enough in EACH particular demo?

* What did they do that was not right, and caused certain problems? What was/were

the problem(s)? (10 pts) (explain and justify)

* How could you solve that/those problem(s)? What would you change to make it/them

better? What are the possible ways to fix the problem(s)? (20pts)

Part II (15 pts)

Your friend has been absent and missed the last lesson where you learned about teaching

“SPEAKING” to Young Learners. To help him/her understand create a sequence diagram

showing the major stages of teaching “SPEAKING”? to YLs. (15 pts)
