never had an iPhone before and I’m having trouble transferring the photos I just
took to my computer.

Louise: Good news! I’ll take care of this! I have an iPhone so I know how to do it.
So please, listen up! First, plug your iPhone in to your computer with the USB
cable.

Julie: On it! Now what?

Louise: Second, open your Applications folder and select the Photos app.

Julie: Where is it? Oh! Now I can see it on the screen.

Louise: Now, select File from the top menu, then select Import.

Julie: Nice, what should I do now?

Louise: You’ll be able to download the photos by holding down the command key
on your keyboard while clicking all the photos you want to transfer, then click
Review for Import.

Julie: Oh! It’s transferring the photos! Thank you, Louise! You’re a geek LOL.
GRAMMAR FOCUS
To start today’s lesson, let’s talk about the IMPERATIVES.

I. IMPERATIVE FORM – The form of the verb used for the imperative is the base
form of the main verb, which is used without a subject.

The imperative form is used to give commands and order. Look at the sentences
below:
It’s a request, it

II. PHRASAL VERBS FOR COMMANDS – They are made of a verb and a
preposition (or two) and sometimes an object. The meaning changes depending
in the preposition.

Among the varieties of PHRASAL VERBS, there are two main types:
