THE DADDY’S HAND AS THEY WALK INTO THE SHOP
DADDY: Ihsan, here is Shopright, one of the biggest snack shops in Kano. I have brought you
here to enjoy yourself. Remember the promise I made to you when you passed your Mid-
Semester examination in Skyline?
Ihsan: Yes Abba! You said first is a new car. Second is an evening at the Bristol Palace and third
is a trip to Shopright.
DADDY: Yes my daughter. Here we are!
(they enter the shop, walk towards the counter and meet a female attendant).
Salamatu: Sir, what do you want?
DADDY: Ihsan din baba, Say all you want. Today is you doing
Salamatu: Why?
DADDY: Because my daughter passed her second term examination. She was the overall best
student of her class.
(they leave the shop after buying snacks).
