My name is Karen Acevedo, I am from Colombia, I am 21 years old and in this video I will talk
about myself.

I was born and I live with my mother in a beautiful city called Bucaramanga, it is well known for its
parks, for its warm climate, for its delicious food, and also for its hard-working and friendly people.

about my parents

She is my mother, her name is Aracely and she is 48 years old, she is happy and loving, I really love
her, she is a clothing worker

and he is my dad, I don't live with him but our relationship is very good, he is fifty-eight years old,
he is a pensioner but he was a primary school teacher.

And now I want you to know a little more about me, I consider myself a responsible, honest,
independent and loving person, I love animals, I have had a dog since I was a child and his name is
Bruno, I love cooking, especially preparing desserts, going to the movies with my friends, go to
church with them, I believe that the most important thing for me is to share time with the people I
love.

I am currently studying law at the UNICIENCIA university, I have finished all the semesters but I
have to do my degree project, I chose this career because I like to help people in difficult
situations.

and now I will talk about my experience of sharing with children.

He is Daniel, I took care of him since he was 4 years old in 2019 and then in 2022, he is too special
a child for me.

My routine after school was to sometimes prepare breakfast or lunch for him, go to the park, he
really loved that a lot, or on weekends we would go to the pool or play soccer.
Also in my church I like to be a volunteer in the care of the children to teach them about God and
to be able to share and play with them.
