The import custom tariff of onion and tomato Have Been decreased

Based on The Decision of tariff committee and intent of ministry of finance for the purpose of reduction
in prices of onions and tomatoes in the markets of the country the import custom tariff Decreased
from 20% to 5%

Earlier than this when the Onion tariff was 20% 3180 Afghani per ton was charged as customs duty

And now that the tariff is Determined at 5%, 1,350 Afghani per ton is collected from the Custom Duty

Also, before this the tariff for Tomatoes was Determined at 20%, 3,430 Afghanis per ton Was charged as
custom duty,

And currently, when the tariff is Determined at 5%, 1,450 Afghanis per ton of custom duty is collected

It is worth mentioning from today on, this decision can be applied in all the customs offices of the

Country
