The 11 rule ( Siddhart )
To multiply any 2 digit number by 11 a trick
is there

Take the 2 digit number

Add the two digits

Place the sum of it in between of the two digit number’s numerals

If the sum is greater than nine, carry 1 and place one’s place there

Answer is easy

Eg ; 37 x 11

3 + 7 = 10

407 = answer
Multiply by 5 ( Devam )
Multiply any even number with 5

Divide the number by 2

Add a zero or shift the decimal point to the left one space

Answer ready
Multiply any odd number by 5

Subtract 1 from the number

Divide by 2

Add 5 instead of 0
Butterfly fraction method or
The Cross Multiplication
Method ( Siddhart )
Subtract any number
from 1000,10000 or
100000 ( Devam )
Easy way to go faster with 0s in units

● Subtract the first digit of number to be subtracted by 9

● Second digit by 9
● Third digit by 10
● Keep on subtracting previous digits from 9 until reaching last digit
● Subtexts it from 10
2 digit by 2 digit
multiplication ( Siddhart )
Multiply 2 digit numbers using vedic maths

● Multiply the first digit by first digit and the second digit by second digit, for example if
you want to multiply 23 by 46, 2×4=8, and 3×6=18
● Now make a number using your answers, here the products are 8 and 18, so the
number will be 818
● Now using the rainbow method multiply the first and last digit and the last and first
digit, 2×6=12 and 3×4=12, 12+12=24
● Add a zero at the end of 24 to make it 240 and add it to 818
● 818+240=1058=23×46
Multiply 2 digit numbers using vedic maths

● Find the difference between hundred and the numbers, like if you want to multiply
79×92, then 100-79=21 and 100-92=8, now 8×21=168
● Take the difference between hundred and subtract it in cross, 79-8=71, 92-21=71
● Now make a number 7268
Divide any large number
by 5 ( Devam )
Divide any number by 5 easily

● Take any number

● Eg ; 365
● Multiply it by 2
● Ans. 730
● Move the decimal point one place to the left
● Ans is 73.
Multiply any number
close to 10 ( Devam )
8,9,10,11,12

● Multiply the number by 10

● Then subtract the number form the product
● If by 8 then subtract double the number
● If by 9 then subtract only the number
● If by 12 then add double the number
● If by 11 then add the number only.
