1. The Department of Education has been relentless in its effort to ensure
recovery from learning loss. In support, the Schools Division of Lipa City creates
opportunities to ensure that meaningful learning shall take place as it
continuously adapts curriculum contextualization which will guarantee relevant
curriculum content and instructional strategies and will provide meaningful
experiences to the learners.
2. ‘The management and development of all teaching and learning resources is
crucial in meeting learning needs. It is expected that learner diversity and
individual differences shall always be considered in lesson planning and
implementation. With the CID’s project ACE-TLRs (Achieving Curriculum
Effectiveness through Teaching and Learning Resources), schools are provided
with the necessary guidance to create a local curriculum that meets the needs
and supports the achievements of all learners. It aims to respond to opportunities
to link teaching and learning in the classroom to the experiences, interests, and
aspirations of the learners and to offer further assistance to both teachers to
ensure that contextualized learning shall be deepened.
3. _ In this regard, this Division through the Curriculum Implementation
Division, calls for the submission of contextualized learning resources to make
teaching and learning more engaging and appropriate for their purpose. This is
one of the activities to ensure that contextualized materials being used in the
schools are quality-assured.
4. Thus, all schools are encouraged to submit contextualized learning materials
focusing on the four key stages of the K to 12 Basic Education Program which will
be used as intervention materials to continuously recover from learning loss.
These materials shall provide an avenue to address the needs of learners in
