NARRATIVE SUMMARY EXPERIENCES

A. Training with fellow Trainees

Problems Encountered
The problem that the trainees encountered at their work is they are struggle
teaching a preschool beacause kindergarten don’t listen, play, or interact with
their seatmate, it might be challenging to teach them.

Recommendations
The easiest way to approach the child or kindergarten to pay attention is to
entertain them while teaching them, and then reward them when they behave
and listen to class properly.
B. Training with Trainers

Problems Encountered
The only problem I encountered is lack of teachers, staffs and personnel in
school.

Recommendations
I recommend that they should be hire more teachers, staffs and personnel to for
added support in school.

C. Narration of Daily Activities

Day 1
Thursday May 18, 2023 when we first start our work immersion at the Paul
Henry Academy. First, we pass our requirements to Mrs. Crescencia T. Canubas
the work immersion head of TNTS before going to the school of De Ocampo,
Paul Henry Academy. We arrived at school around 8:00 pm, ma'am Canubas
introduced us to Mrs. Rosite M. Capili Principal/Administrator of the school where
she took care of assigning us where we gonna work. Everyone was nervous,
because we didn't know what task they were going to assign to us. The first task
given to us, is to help teachers cleaning the school, the area given to me is the
computer room I clean it until the dust are gone. That was fun for the 1st day of
our work immersion at school of Paul Henry Academy (PHA) the teachers and
staffs are so kind that they gladly welcome us.

Day 2
2nd day Friday May 19, 2023. We were given the Preschool by Ma'am
Rosite to assist Ma'am Janice there from 8 to 11 am. That day the Kinder and
Nursery practices the dance for their moving up. Since only kids could teach
them, we initially believed it would be simple. However, we mistakenly believed
that because kindergarteners were so misbehaving, it was challenging to
discipline them. A person moves around, plays, and converses with their
neighbor. Everything we went through was challenging. And in the afternoon 1-3
pm, we instruct students in grades, teaching them how to read and spell.

Day 3
3rd day Monday May 22, 2023. One of ma'am Janice's students had a
birthday on that particular day, so as soon as the kid entered the room, we
wished him a happy birthday. The youngsters were starving after their dance
practice for their graduation, so the parents of ma'am's students brought food for
us and her classmates to share during their break or recess. Again, in the
afternoon, we gave the kids reading and spelling lessons so they could study and
get better at reading.

Day 4
4th day Tuesday May 23, 2023. The final day before my classmate and I
swapped schedules. We assisted Ma'am Janice with her students' practice
sessions for moving up in the morning. Due to their misbehavior, we still
struggled to educate, but we gradually improved. Following Ma'am Janice's
advice to not treat the kids too much and telling them to be quiet and pay
attention to the teacher were the things we did to persuade the kids to obey. We
also tutored kids who couldn't read or spell in the afternoon. With ma'am Janice
and her adorable students, we had a lovely day.

Day 5
5th day Wednesday May 24, 2023. We were given the printing shop that
day. There is a lot to do and it is really busy. There, we organized an event for the
promotion and graduation of Kindergarten and Grade 6. What we did was event
planners. We cooperate to complete everything that day even though there was
a lot of work to be done. Even though it was a lot, we who were assigned to the
printing shop worked together to get it done.
Day 6
6th day Thursday May 25, 2023. We remain at the printing business. On
that particular day, we assisted in creating medals at the request of other
schools. We finished the medals in one afternoon, and every medal we produced
was above 1500.

Day 7
7th day Friday May 26, 2023. We contributed to the school's moving up
and graduation preparations. In order for the parents of students who are
graduating and moving up to the next grade to be aware of the schedule and the
speeches of instructor will deliver, we counted the event planners that had been
created. The number of event planners we had counted was insufficient, so we
informed the printing shop manager, and we immediately make a new.

Day 8
8th day Saturday May 27, 2023. Paul Henry Academy students moving up
and graduation day. It was held at SM Trece. What we did was to assist the
parents who went for their children. We also gave out flyers to passers-by around
the area so that people can learn about that school. The moving up was held in
the morning from 8am - 2pm which took a lot of time due to the late arrivals. And
the graduation was held from 2pm. The program ended around 9 in the evening.

Day 9
9th day Monday May 29, 2023. In the printing shop we still help with the
tasks. It's still busy there because of the medal orders from other schools. What
we did was we cut excess stickers on the medals. We enjoyed it because it was
very satisfying to do it.

Day 10
10th day Tuesday May 30, 2023. Our final day at the printing business and
at work immersion has come. We assisted in cutting the tapes for the t-shirt
printing press that day. Additionally, we were created as case for 1 by 1 and 2 by
2 images. We had a small amount of fun on our final day while in tears because
we will miss Paul Henry Academy's teachers and staff for their warm welcome.
