Executive Summary

This manual gives the overview of Biratnagar International College (BIC) located at
Bhrikuti Chowk, Biratnagar, Nepal.

The college was established in the year 2014 and is affiliated to University of
Wolverhampton. Currently the college is offering 4 years Graduate Business degree
namely B.Sc. (Hons) International Business Management (BIBM). Moreover from the
upcoming academic session the college is adding an additional 3 years degree program
in Hospitality namely B.A. (Hons) International Hospitality Management.

The documents enclosed in this manual starts with Memorandum of Understanding

done with various institutions/organizations for these two programs. Thereafter, the
Human Resources details are given and includes Human Resources policies adopted
by Biratnagar International College. After this, the number of students currently studying
in BIC is given along with their levels and short details.

Thenceforth, the infrastructure details of BIC is mentioned along with future plans and
provisions. In this section, the sports infrastructure currently present is given in detail.
Consequently, Health and Hygiene provisions along with assignees/staffs are
mentioned. Among the infrastructure library provisions and details of books are
mentioned. Thereafter the assets and resources details currently present in the college
is given in detail. Also the internet facilities present inside the college along with Internet
Service Provider details are also given along with the technicalities like the bandwidth
and internet infrastructure. It also gives the details of IT labs and the number of
computers and other facilities available to the students along with their specifications.
Following this, the manual highlights the scholarship provisions and policies of the
college. It also gives the details of such scholarships.

Thenceforward, the revenue and tax details provided to the government through Nepal
Rastra Bank is given. There are frequent assessment visits by the University of
Wolverhampton done at regular intervals. The details of such visits are given thereafter.
Following that, Documents present with the college specifically the Tribhuvan University
(TU) Equivalency letter for the degree is given. After this, the other important documents
present is Company Registration Letter and Share Holders details.

After this the assessment policy and details followed by the University is given in detail.
Handbook of the college is also provided. Moreover, additional benefits and services
provided to Students and Staffs specially provisions for especially abled students and
staffs are given along with the scholarship details given to the students. The
achievements of students are provided too.

Lastly the details of the management committee along with the meeting minutes and
further plans are given in detail.
