I. OBJECTIVES – At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. explain how animism is expressed in other religions of the world;
2. give examples of animism; and
3. share four personal experiences or situations wherein your actions
subscribed to the teachings of animism.
A. Content Standards
The learners demonstrate an understanding of cultural, social, and political
institutions as sets of norms and patterns of behavior that relate to major social
interests.
B. Performance Standards
The learners identify one’s role in social groups and institutions.
C. Learning Competencies
The learners conduct participant observation (e.g. attend, describe and reflect on a

Animism
 is the belief that all-natural
