India will be considered the youngest nation in the world

with 64% of our population falling under the working-age
bracket. The future of the nation lies in the hands of its youth
and they can build and transform the present shape of affairs and
can write the destiny of its beloved nation. However, the
question arises does the youth of this nation loves its nation and
calls corresponds to fundamental duties, such as to uphold the
unity and integrity if the nation and to maintain secularism.
I did a survey on the topic-“Do people follow fundamental
duties. The fundamental duties are defined as the moral
obligations of all citizens to help promote a sprit of
patriotism and to uphold the unity of india. These duties set
out in part IV-A of the constitution. This survey is an attempt
to find out the following objectives: Youth’s sense of
awareness about fundamental duties in present era. The aim
of the survey was to get reflection on fundamental duties and
its contemporary relevance in day to day life of people. I did
this survey in January 2023. The information was collected
through printout of pdf which had 11 questions on each 11
fundamental duties. The survey included 25 respondents
which includes students from different states. Students where
from different course and where mostly in the age group of
17-20.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
My personal experience with the survey was really good. Some
people were very approachable whereas other was very reluctant
whether to fill the form or not. Some people even denied to fill
the form.
Some people filled the form honestly while others just blindly tick
the answers or just copied what others did.
Some people where very curious about this activity and even
asked questions related to the survey.
Like for what I am conducting this survey, what is the aim or
purpose of this survey, how many fundamental duties are there or
what are fundamental duties? What is the difference in duties and
right?
People asked there doubt when they didn’t understand any
question.
In the questionnaire I gave an option of giving any comments
some simply write no in that while some wrote-
-: “the person conducting this survey is v sweet”
“Safeguard public property? Yes, non violence? No. people are
violent” (in respect with ques.6)
“Anything for the country but not for the corrupt countrymen”
“I will try to become a good citizen by obeying all the fundamental
duties”
“Survey are of no use”
CONCULION
The study concludes that the youth of today has
decent sense and awareness of Fundamental Duties in
the present era and they also have a sensitivity or
emotional bonding for the national signs and symbols;
which means they feel great love and sense of belonging
for the nation and its signs and symbols. Each citizen of
India is supposed to have a better knowledge of his/her
duties with his knowledge of rights. Fundamental rights
are like special rights with a responsibility. The people of
nation should realize that even to enjoy their rights
properly they are supposed to redeem the fundamental
rights in a right way. Thus with concern to these
Fundamental Duties of Citizens, the present study was
related to the major objective of study about the
Awareness and Implementation of these Fundamental
Duties of Indian Citizens in the Youth. Fundamental duties
have still greater importance because these reflect certain
basic values like patriotism, nationalism, humanism,
environmentalism, harmonious living, gender equality,
scientific temper and inquiry, and individual and collective
excellence.
As per my say this was a successful survey.
