PRE LESSON 1. Pupils are given 1 minute to write down one country name for each alphabet from A-Z. Teacher and pupils
(5 MINUTES) can check answers.

1. In pupils, pupils refer to textbook page 10 Activity 1. Pupils match the countries to the numbers on the
globe. Pupils listen to CD1-11 to check the answers.
2. Pupils refer to Activity 2. Pupils find the meanings of the blue words and read the sentences to choose the
correct answers.
3. Pupils are asked why it is important to give correct information about our country. Pupils are also asked to
LESSON share the important things that they should know about Malaysia as a Malaysian.
DEVELOPMENT 4. Pupils refer to textbook page 11 Activity 2. Pupils try to answer the questions orally. Pupils check the
answers by listening to CD1-12
(45 MINUTES) 5. Pupils listen to CD1-12 again and try completing Activity 3 in page 11.

PRE LESSON 1. Pupils share a little on what they can remember from last week’s lesson about the poem.
(5 MINUTES)
1. Pupils are informed that they are going to make a mask of a person with loose tooth and tell their story of
falling tooth.
2. Teacher shows an example of a mask and tells a personal story.
3. Teacher writes the connectors used (first, next, and finally) in his/her story on the board. Pupils are
encouraged to use the connectors while telling story with the mask.
4. Pupils are given some time to prepare the mask and practice their story.
LESSON 5. Pupils share their story with their friends in their groups. Other students in the groups write down their
friends’ memorable story in their exercise books.

PRE LESSON 1. Teacher writes ‘where’, ‘what’ and ‘who’ on the board. Teacher says a few sentences and pupils choose the
(5 MINUTES) correct word related to the sentences said by the teacher. For example: I’m your teacher. (Who+are you?)

1. In pairs, pupils also take turns to say three sentences about where they live, what the like and who they
like. Partners can match the sentences to which one might be ‘who’, ‘where’ or ‘what’.
2. Pupils refer to pictures in page 10 Activity 2. In pairs, pupils choose 2 photos and say sentences about the
pictures using the KEY PHRASES from page 11 Activity 3. For example: I think that’s….., I’m not sure
that’s…, I don’t know where/what/who that is…
LESSON 3. Teacher explains to pupils that they are going to make their own group quiz based on their teachers. Names
DEVELOPMENT of 6 teachers are displayed on the board and each group chooses one. Pupils refer to page 11 Activity 4 for
reference. In groups, pupils discuss and write 5 questions.
(45 MINUTES) 4. Then, pupils can select a representative to read out their questions to others. Pupils can request from
another group to swap questions.
5. Each group chooses their ‘best question’ and write it on a sticky note. Pupils display the sticky note on the
board. Once every group has displayed their ‘best question’, pupils try to answer questions from another
group.
5. Pupils share their answers with the class and teacher guides pupils to discuss.

POST LESSON Pupils are asked why is it important to say good or positive things about anything. Then, teacher can also ask
(10 MINUTES) pupils about saying negative things.

PRE LESSON 1. Teacher asks pupils if they can remember what do they need to fill in in order to send an email. Pupils
(5 MINUTES) share their answers and experiences.

1. Pupils refer to textbook page 11 Activity 5 or teacher can display an actual email template via Gmail.
Teacher asks if pupils remember what the words in blue are called. Pupils read the email and are asked if the
email is easy or difficult to read.
2. Teacher displays/ writes his/her email. Teacher asks what does @ mean and where is located? Ask pupils if
they have read and written any emails on their own.
LESSON 3. Teacher conducts an online quiz (Quizziz) where pupils take turns to orally answer.
DEVELOPMENT 4. Pupils refer to Activity 6 and identify when there should be a comma.
5. Pupils can copy the sentences in Activity 7 into their exercise books or say the answers orally.

POST LESSON 1.Pupils cut and paste the Conjunction Foldable. Pupils write 3 sentences using the conjunctions under each

PRE LESSON 1. Pupils refer to textbook page 11 Activity 5. Teacher asks questions such as; Who is the email from? How
(5 MINUTES) old is she? Where does she live? What is the start of the email? What is at the end of the email?

1. Teacher writes a few details on the board and pupils prepare a fact file about themselves by filling in the
blanks of the details. Ex: Name, Age, Siblings, School, Interested in, Speaks and Nationality.
2. Pupils tell their partners about themselves based on their fact file.
3. Pupils refer to Activity 8 and start writing an email about themselves to a friend (M). Pupils are guided to
write the emails using shorter sentences (L).
LESSON 4. Pupils read their partners email to check before sending the email.
