Introduction

"Tropical Graham Shake” offers healthy, delicious, and affordable snacks. Avocado
Graham Shake, Mango Graham Shake, and Coconut Graham Shake will be its main products but
other snacks will also be served. The foods and drinks offered by " Tropical Graham Shake”
intend to satisfy the cravings of the customers in Panglao.

The proposed business is a partnership kind of business. The capital in putting up a

business will be equally contributed by the members of the group. The group members are
namely Juna-Mae Reapor Saga, Lyle Ira luz V. Emnace, Danilo S. Bendong Jr. and Jenebie C.
Lofranco. The group will contribute to both financial and industrial resources in order to start the
proposed business. The members will make an agreement regarding the ownership to ensure
equal loss or proper distribution and to prioritize what benefits the group.

When entering a business, the responsibility does not end up in taking the business. There
are also aspects to be considered in order to meet the qualifications and requirements when
engaging in it. Business is not only about working to achieve the ultimate goal but it is also about
having concern for the different factors involved in it, the awareness of the surroundings, and the
awareness of others who will be greatly affected by the business. Thus, the proponents have a
social responsibility to be covered in order to contribute economic benefit from the proposed
business, and here are some of the factors.
Background of the study
In this business, there are four people involved namely Juna-Mae Reapor Saga, Lyle Ira
luz V. Emnace, Danilo S. Bendong Jr. and Jenebie C. Lofranco. This is a general partner where
members will be responsible for the management of the partnership. Members may invest money
in this business but may also be personally liable for the debts of the company. In Alona,
Panglao Bohol and as observed there are employees, students, senior citizens, young
professionals and tourists in area who take snacks during a vacant time, birthday occasion or any
celebration that doesn't want to travel any farther such as going to Tagbilaran City. And now of
the present time Alona, Panglao is the central place for tourist to pass by and take short break
from their travel or activities done in the Amarela or other nearby beach resorts.

Tropical Graham Shake serves comfort food as well as delicious blends of drinks.
Avocado Graham Shake, Mango Graham Shake, and Coconut Graham Shake, a blend of famous
tropical fruit, graham and milk that will truly refresh customers, is a must try. The juice is made
from pure avocado, mango, and coconut fruit that is full of refreshing fruity flavors as a tropical
country, the Philippines boasts of different kinds of tropical fruits (Patrick, 2021) by which
avocado, mango, and coconut are one of the most popular tropical fruits in the Philippines and it
is mostly accessible here in our island which is Panglao, Bohol, Philippines.  The business also
offers snacks to satisfy their cravings of the customers. Tourists and locals of the area with the
time amount to travel to the main barangay to buy refreshments and desserts, Tropical Graham
Shake is the best location for stopovers and intended visits in the area. Locals also won’t need to
buy time in waiting for vehicles to travel in the nearby municipality or barangay just to satisfy
their cravings and refreshments. The increased population and the existence of the area give an
opportunity for the proponent to establish a proposal business.
Current situation of the Market
Travellers go to Bohol island to bury their feet into its white, sandy beaches, discover
rich marine biodiversity and gaze upon picturesque landscapes. What most don’t know is that
this top tourist destination in the Philippines is also a home of delicious cuisine and beverages.
The products offered by Tropical Graham Shake are not new in the industry. Majority of the
competitors would be café, snack bars, and homemade businesses that are ahead and have put up
the business. Existing businesses that have already built strong support and loyal customers.
However, there are points that the business is at advantage, which is that the business is located
at the convenience of consumers to buy time to travel. Tropical Graham Shake aims to serve
quality and worth it mango desserts to tourists and locals in the area of Panglao. Tropical
Graham Shake serves comfort food as well as delicious blends of drinks. Tourists and locals of
the area with the time amount to travel to the main barangay to buy refreshments and desserts,
Tropical Graham Shake is the best location for stopovers and intended visits in the area.

Marketing trends
Local cold drinks shops are the existing trend in the market nowadays. Customers seek a
place where they can find happiness and relaxation through refreshment drinks, sweet treats and
similar foods and drinks that can ease their stresses, worriness or any unwelcoming feeling.
Mango Time is a type of business which offers both (desserts and other tasty drinks). There are
more than ten existing milk tea shops in Panglao, and only one in Tangnan where our business
will be located too. With the number of existing milk tea shops, it might be a threat but our
business can still compete in the chosen location since there is only one existing milk tea shop
there. What makes it positive is that our business offers varieties which are not available at milk
tea shops since we give highlights from mango products.
Market Potential
Our business caters all types of customers no matter its age, gender, race and
characteristics. Our products are what people commonly consume, especially when there are
occasions (mango float, mango tapioca, etc.). They are already familiar with the products we will
offer; hence it will not be so hard for us to market it to the customers. Also, in providing services
for our customers we will make sure we will aim for customer satisfaction by making their
stomachs and faces happy by the delicious treats we can offer.
