EXAM RULES FOR STUDENTS

Start with Bismillah and say the following dua:

“O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow.” Hisn al-Muslim 139

Failure to obey any of the following rules may result in your exam paper being removed
and disciplinary action taken against you.

 Make sure that you are prepared for the exam. Have your pen(s), pencil(s), pencil
sharpener, and your eraser available and ready.
 Use a black or dark blue pen.
 Write your name, examination date and your date of birth in the boxes at the top of
the page.
 Do not use an erasable pen or correction fluid.
 No calculator, smartwatch or cell phone is allowed in the exam hall.
 You will not be allowed to leave the exam hall during the exam.
 An exam is a race against time, try to be quick, but careful.
 Open your exam paper when you are told to do so.
 Keep the exam paper clean and flat.
 If you have any difficulty with the exam paper, raise your hand and wait for the
invigilator to respond.
 The invigilator will not answer any questions about the exam once it has started.
 Keep silent during exams.
 If you have time when you finish the exam, check your answers.
 When you are done, turn over your exam paper and wait. Do not disturb others.
 When the exam ends the invigilator calls “TIME IS OVER. PENS, PENCILS
DOWN”. Put your pencil or pen down immediately and wait until your paper is
collected.
 Leave the class quietly and do not loiter in front of the class.
