Large screwdriver +,- , Small screwdriver +,- , hexagonal wrench, stripper, nipper,
cable tie, insert, knife, electric tape, etc. are required..
2. How to install
2.1. Unpacking
Remove the machine's outer cover and lift the frame during machine towing and
stair lift.
① Move all components to the room where they will be used and begin assembly.
② Assemble the side frame, paying attention to the direction of the head and foot.
Mount wide frame in the direction of legs and narrow frame in the direction of head.
③ Insert the BED end of the FRAME and tighten the bolts.
⑩ Connect the signal line (RS232 Cable) to the computer serial port.
② 2 Partition the local disk by approximately C:\ 300G and D:\ for the rest.
⑩ When the License input window pops up, paste the license key you received from the
administrator and click the OK button. (In case of export, License key will be sent to
CD as photo file or PDF file. You must enter the License key that matches the USB
Serial No.)
⑪ Click "Next" and "Finish" on the installation screen to finish the installation.
⑫ After installation is complete, run the UI and exit. (Some files are newly created.)
⑬ Rename the config.mdb file and replace it with the Config.mdb file included on
the CD.(The config.mdb file contains the calibration information and the factory-
set information for the device serial and should be replaced with the correct file.)
3. The pre-checks.
This chapter provides checks on setting method and assembly before using falcon..
② Check that the green LED on the "Power Switch" and "Control Panel" is illuminated
when the power is on.
‘Scanner movement stats’ : Detector and tube move to initial position. Empty the bed
so there is no problem with the movement of the arm, It also means that there is a
connection between the BMD and the Workstation. Press Yes.
‘X-ray Calibration’ : It means system full calibration. Press No because the device is not
currently calibrated.
③ If "Loop Wait Complete .. Timeout" Error occurs, refer to the below and check the serial
cable connection and Com port setting.
④ Open the Device Manager window to check the number of ports connected to the
current equipment.
⑤ Click Tool in the UI.
⑥ Click option.
⑬ When the Spectrum Analysis window opens, press High Current, Target H, and then
MOVE.
* ①->②->③ Click in order.
⑭ Press SPECTRUM, the front yellow lamp is on and Spectrum comes out.
Normal spectrum waveform
※ If a normal waveform comes out, capture the waveform and save it.
※ In case of abnormal waveforms, please contact us for assistance.
3.4. QA-Phantom Measurement
① Enter “QA Phantom” in the name bar and click the Search button.
② Click QA Phantom.
③ If the patient is not on the list, click New Patient to register. If yes, go to step 5.
④ Select QA Phantom, Chart Number: 0001, Birth Date: 1970/01/01, Sex: Male for patient
name and press Next.
⑤ Select Spine and change the scan range to 10, 80. Select Set1 and click OK.
※ X-ray radiates.
⑧ Press the OK button on the arm or the Stop button on the UI to start the scan.
※ X-rays are radiated when the Scan starts.
⑨ When the scan is completed, use Auto to measure as shown in the photo.
⑩ Compare the BMD and T-score values recorded on the Phantom with the calculated
values. If the difference is more than ± 10%, please contact us.
※ It is possible to change the value of "Mb target bar" mainly in cold. In most cases,
Before disassembling the main body, turn off the power switch and remove the
power cable.
① Disassemble the power cable after confirming that the main power switch is OFF.
③ Remove the cables connected to the control panel. (LAMP, E-STOP, Remote)
④ Remove the cover by lifting it up.
⑨ Connect the detector cable to the red point of the connector and to the red point of
the connector.
⑩ Check the spectrum in 3.3 and adjust the position to get the best signal.
4.4. X-ray tube replacement
⑥ Refer to Section 3.3 Check Spectrum and adjust Tube Position precisely so that Signal
Value is the largest in Spectrum Window.
⑦ Tighten the tube fixing bolt.
① Remove the bolts on the top of the main box attached to the bottom of the
equipment. Remove the cover.
② Carefully pull back the board attached to the bus B/D.
③ Put the board to be replaced in the correct position and check the mounting status
again.
④ Refer to section 3.3 and check for abnormality.
