One Pan Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients Equipment
2 chicken breast Small bowl/ jug

1 peppers Teaspoon

1 onion Sharp knife (for vegetables)

2 tortilla wraps Per Person Scissors (for chicken)

Sprinkle of grated cheese 2 x Chopping board

1 tbsp olive oil (school) Small glass mixing bowl

1 tbsp smoked paprika (school) Tablespoon

1 tsp ground cumin (school) Large frying pan

1 tsp garlic powder (school) Wooden Spoon

1 tsp dried oregano (school)

½ tsp ground coriander (school)

Method:
1. Place all herbs and spices in a small ramekin/ bowl and mix with a spoon.
2. Using a sharp knife and a chopping board, evenly slice the peppers and
onion in thin strips. Place into large mixing bowl.
3. On a separate chopping board and using scissors, thinly slice the chicken
into bite sized strips. Place into mixing bowl and wash hands thoroughly
with hot soapy water.
4. Add the chicken to the mixing bowl along with the 1 tablespoon of olive oil
and all of the herbs/spices. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly
coated. Place to one side.
5. Heat the frying pan with a little bit of oil. When the oil is hot, add the
chicken and vegetables using a wooden spoon and keep stirring until all the
chicken is cooked- it should be completely white! When cooked, turn off
the heat.
6. To serve the dish, remove the chicken and
vegetable pan from the hob and turn off
the heat.
7. Divide between the two wraps. Add a
serving of the chicken and vegetables to
the centre of the tortilla and top with
some grated cheese if you wish!
