SESSION 1. STAGE 1 OF THE INITIAL AUDIT

Working in your assigned breakout room, you are required to plan a third-party initial audit of CZERKA Ltd.

You have a controlled copy of the organisation’s documented information.

You are required to:

 Plan and conduct a Stage I Initial Audit to CZERKA Ltd. in order to prepare and plan the stage 2 of the
initial audit. You have to prepare a stage 1 plan and a short report (1 page), which contains the main
information you plan to collect and verify at stage 1 and which you will use in the audit planning stage 2
(review your work from the case study on desktop audit to get some clues).

 Make sure you collect and record information and/ or allocate time for stage 2 to cover the following
aspects of the QMS: Context, Risk and Opportunities, Quality objectives, Responsibilities and authorities,
Resources, Product realization processes, monitoring and measurement requirements, Control of any
externally provided processes, products and services, improvement

 Follow the guidance of ISO 19011, ISO 17021 and the relevant sections of the Delegates Manual, and IAF
MD5.

 Please consult IAF Mandatory Document IAF MD 5:2009 for more details on proper planning
