Learning Log

This log should be used to support planning for the assessed skill. It should be used to reflect on
the learning that has taken place and the progress being made. The candidate should enter:
 each activity carried out
 each progress review they have had with their assessor
 their own views on their progress
 changes they have made to activities that were included on the Action Plan

your own or in a group. Produce a short description of what each organisation does. Find out
more about one of them and present your findings.

Unit 2: Collect news stories and information on a social or local issue

Unit 3: Invite a local councillor or MP to talk to your group about their work

Unit 5: Working with others, carry out an investigation into different modes of transport in your
community and compare them. Look at cost, convenience and environmental impact

Unit 6: Find out about opportunities for voluntary work. Produce information for others.
