Solution:
India has been elected as a nonpermanent member of the UN
Security Council for two-year term not three. Hence statement 1 is
incorrect.

India is the only endorsed candidate from the Asia-Pacific States.
India’s two-year term as the non-permanent member of the UNSC
has began from January 1, 2021.

About Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)
The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is the second largest
intergovernmental organization after the United Nations with a membership of
57 states.

complying with the convention, which includes a commitment to grant
inspectors full access to chemical weapons sites.

India is a signatory to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and
member of Executive Council of OPCW.

The Chemical Weapons Convention Act, 2000 was passed to
implement the CWC.
It provided for the establishment of a National Authority for Chemical
Weapons Convention or NACWC.
This institution, formed in 2005, is the chief liaison between the
government of India and the OPCW.
