7.0 OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION
a) PROGRESS OF PROMOTING PRODUCT

To advertise our items, we created websites, Instagram pages, and Facebook pages. These
platforms will give our customers additional information about the ready-to-eat bread goods that
our company sells. It is simpler for our consumers to buy our products offline by walking to our
store or using our delivery services to save their time because the number of students and
personnel is growing and increasingly busier.

On Instagram and our website, we had updated the information about our company and
our products. We posted images of our products on Instagram along with the suggested retail
price. We also share our posts via Instagram's "Story," which is one of its features. Our Instagram
account had 9 followers as of the sixth day of December 2022, and posts received an average of
5 to 8 likes apiece. However, the quantity of likes does not reflect how many of our things we sell
to clients; rather, it demonstrates how far we have advertised our goods.

Instagram Page

20
Additionally, we use Strikingly to create our website, which can be found at https://site-
10161069-3376-8993.mystrikingly.com. This website's purpose is to update customers on our
most recent information and to advertise our goods. It might assist our clients in learning more
about our company and keeping up with the marketing of our goods. The four sections of our
website are the "Home Page," "Shop Page," "Contact Page," and "Product Page."

“Home Page” of the website

21
“Shop Page” of the website

“Contact Page” of the website

“Product Page” of the website

22
We display our products with images and prices on the homepage. We list our social
media links, including those for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, on the Contact page. It
makes it simple for customers to place orders. Customers must visit the link we have supplied in
order to place an order with us. The Shop page has a section with further information about our
products. Customers can check the available product options and variations with the quoted
price on our website and make decisions based on those alternatives. There is a description of
our wonderful ready-made bread on the Product page.

By advertising our products, we establish a Facebook profile for our ready-made bread
company. Additionally, we update our Facebook page. Because it is simpler to engage our
customers with trending information about our business on Facebook, we choose it as our top
platform. We will then publish material that is available to everyone. In order to attract their
attention more, we also ask our Facebook friends from our personal accounts to like our company
page. Then, we update our business page with pertinent Roughtee-related information.

b) BENEFITS OF ONLINE BUSINESS

Entrepreneurs can use online business as a platform to advertise or discuss their items online
without making in-person sales. Online retailers like Shoppe, Lazada, Mudah.my, and Zalora are
a few examples. Entrepreneurs seeking to launch an online enterprise. It includes blogging to
spread the word about your products, drop shipping, affiliate marketing, and information
products like webinars and eBooks. People who desire to start their own businesses can benefit
much from operating an online business. Running our firm online has several advantages for
Roughtee Enterprises as well.

When Roughtee Enterprise began conducting business online, we were able to attract more
clients from all around Malaysia. On social media sites like Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, and
Facebook, we can advertise our products. We can easily connect with our customers to sell them
our delicious ready-made bread by using all these sites. Additionally, when customers enjoy our
items, they can spread the word about our company website and draw additional attention to
our offerings.

Second, starting a business online is made possible by the low startup costs. When we use
online platforms, we can advertise our products on social media platforms instead of at the mall
or anywhere else. Additionally, since everyone now has access to our business website and can
learn more about our items, this platform will be used to reach out to our customers about our
offering. Additionally, if we want to operate our business online, we won't need to hire any staff.
This enables us to reduce business expenses. All of the Roughtee Enterprise's partners merely
contribute a small amount of initial capital RM 10 each person for equity.

Next, doing the firm online entails less risk for Roughtee Enterprise. As previously
mentioned, if we choose to create a store to sell our goods, we must employ staff. However,
when a business experiences anything negative, such as bankruptcy or a loss, To cover the entire
loss, pay employee salary, or cover store rent, we need extra money. This is because using social
media channels to advertise our items reduces risk, that is why we choose to start an internet

24
business. It costs fair money to use social media networks like Facebook and Instagram. In
addition, we can pay modest fees to artists or influencers to advertise our goods.

Flexible time is the last item. If we operate a shop, we must keep it open from dawn till
dusk. We do not have free time and are constantly engaged in business. However, while
operating an internet business, we do not have to open the store, which allows us to spend more
time with our loved ones. An online business also benefits us as university students who want to
make a little extra money for our tuition. As college students, it will be simple for us to sell the
goods whenever and whenever we want by using social media platforms.

c) FEEDBACK AND ORDER FROM CUSTOMERS

The image above depicts how we received orders from customers and client feedback
that we found to be appealing. To foster trust and attract additional clients, we will use your
feedback to distribute and post on our company pages on social media platforms like Instagram
and Facebook.

8.0 PROBLEM AND CHALLENGES OF ONLINE BUSINESS

Online business is one of the most useful platforms in business. It is used in promoting
products sold or offered by a business. This online business also provides enormous benefits or
benefits for a business which saves time and energy to businessmen. However, online business
also presents problems and challenges in a business.

Among the first problems and challenges is the difficulty in marketing the product. This
is because, for new traders in the business, marketing products for them is not easy. Indirectly,
Roughtee Entreprise also experienced challenges in creating Facebook page and Instagram page
in expanding product promotion online. Another factor is the lack of knowledge in marketing.
The lack of marketing knowledge can cause difficulties for traders in gaining customers. So in
overcoming this problem, we used a method where we learned how to promote products
through the sharing of scientific videos in YouTube.

The next challenge and problem is the difficulty in gaining the trust and confidence of
customers. In doing business online, all trade deals are based on online communication either
via chat or by call. Some customers simply play in making a booking making it difficult for the
seller in managing the distribution of products and some customers cancel the booking at Last
minute. In addition, it also presents a problem where it is difficult for customers to trust
products sold online. This is because nowadays, there are many scams online that people make
in order to make a profit so that customers find it difficult to make a choice to buy online.

Next, Rough-Tee Enterprise also provides website to customers. Customers come in many
varieties. Sometimes you need to deal with a situation where there is a buyer who wants to buy
from you, but not long after the buyer is silent even though you have followed up with them.
However, you can take steps to automate your business through website purchases. By putting
product info, accepting orders, accepting payments without having to deal directly with
customers. Simply sharing your website link and following up with customers makes your job as
a seller easier. However, the websites must be user-friendly, trustworthy, and free from cyber
threats to allow customers to easily deal even without being face-to-face with the buyer.

26
Apart from the challenges we face before and during the process of buying and selling
products. We are also not free from challenges during the delivery process. As an online
merchant, sometimes you will face problems with the delivery of goods. Especially when your
customers are located far away and it takes a long time for the delivery process to take place.
Not all customers are aware of this situation. This issue of time constraints also causes you to
experience problems in delivering goods. More so if your customers want their goods delivered
quickly. If you are an online merchant on a part-time basis, you will definitely face problems in
dividing the time to deliver goods. Believe me, if you manage to plan well. Every challenge you
go through you will face calmly and manageably.
