I. INTRODUCTION

On March 17, 2023, I attended an online seminar entitled "Machine


Learning and Deep Learning for Prediction of Kinematic and Force of Human
Upper Limb Movement Using Muscle Activity." The seminar was conducted
by the University of La Salle and was held via the Zoom platform.

II. KNOWLEDGE/ LEARNING ACQUIRED

The seminar aimed to explore the potential of machine learning and deep
learning techniques in predicting the kinematic and force of human upper limb
movement using muscle activity. The presenter, Mr. Anam, a professor of
computer science at the University of La Salle, started the seminar by providing
a brief introduction to the topic and its relevance in the field of rehabilitation
and prosthetics.
Mr. Anam then proceeded to discuss the basic concepts of machine learning
and deep learning, providing examples of various applications in different

I. INTRODUCTION

On March 17, 2023, I attended an online seminar entitled "RF Systems for
Biomedical Applications." The seminar was conducted by the University of La
Salle via the Zoom platform and was presented by Alfredo B. Satriya, ST, MT.

II. KNOWLEDGE/ LEARNING ACQUIRED

The seminar aimed to explore the potential of radio frequency (RF) systems
in biomedical applications. Mr. Satriya started the seminar by providing a brief
introduction to the topic and its relevance in the field of biomedical
engineering. He discussed the different types of RF systems and their
applications in various medical fields.

Next, Mr. Satriya discussed the basic concepts of RF systems and the

architectures, such as single-ended and differential, and explained the pros and

During our webinar, I observed that our speaker has enough knowledge
about the topics he is discussing. At the end of the seminar, they have also
question and answer to voice out some questions regarding the webinar or in the
field of Engineering. I also observed the willingness of every individual to learn
about this exciting topic.
IV. RECOMMENDATIONS / SUGGESTIONS

I suggest that they have at least provide a handout for us to understand every
detail so we could just focus on the listening to speaker. They can also provide
some PDF files so everyone can have notes and they can use soon.

On February 25, 2023, I attended a webinar entitled "What's New with IoT."
The webinar was conducted by Terra Hertz Company via Zoom and was
presented by Engr. Richard R. Matias.

II. KNOWLEDGE/ LEARNING ACQUIRED

The webinar aimed to provide an overview of the latest trends and


developments in the field of Internet of Things (IoT). Engr. Matias started the
webinar by providing a brief introduction to IoT and its applications in various
industries. He discussed the different components of an IoT system, such as
sensors, gateways, and cloud platforms, and their roles in collecting and
processing data.

Next, Mr. Leyson discussed the latest trends and advancements in IoT, such
as edge computing, artificial intelligence, and 5G connectivity. He explained
how these technologies are enhancing the capabilities of IoT systems and
enabling new applications in areas such as smart cities, healthcare, and
agriculture.

III. OBSERVATION

In our webinar, I noticed that the speaker was well-versed in the subjects

conducted by AMA Computer College via online Zoom. The seminar was
presented by Mrs. Fernandez and aimed to provide an overview of blockchain

II. KNOWLEDEGE AQUIRED / LEARNING

Dr. Fernandez started the seminar by providing an introduction to

On January 9 - 13, 2023, AMA Computer College conducted a seminar on
Cybersecurity, which was held via online Zoom. The seminar was presented by
Ms. Michelle M. Carnguian, MT, MIT, an expert in the field of Cybersecurity.
The seminar started with an introduction to Cybersecurity and the increasing
importance of securing data and systems in today's digital world.

II. KNOWLEDGE / LEARNING ACQUIRED


Ms. Caranguian provided an overview of the various types of cyber threats,
the damage they can cause, and how they can be prevented. She highlighted the
importance of implementing strong security protocols, including firewalls,
intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Throughout the seminar,
Ms. Caranguian emphasized the need for proactive measures in cybersecurity,
such as conducting regular security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and
implementing corrective actions. She also discussed the various types of cyber

cybercriminals.
