Please mark your calendars! Stahl Junior High is taking steps to put together our 2 nd annual
“Ignite the Future” this spring. This exciting program prepares our ninth grade students for the
job application process. Students will be introduced to résumé writing, job application forms,
etiquette and interviewing.

You are invited to participate by volunteering to conduct mock interviews for our students.
This gives them the opportunity to experience what an actual interview might be like.

As a volunteer, you will be asked to:

 Dress in interview attire.
 Interview approximately 12 students. (The interview questions and scoring are
prepared for you, so no advanced preparation is required on your part.)
 Score and give immediate feedback as to whether they would be hired or not and
possibly provide tips for successful, future interviews.

The time and place for this event is:

 Friday, May 19th
 7:15 – 11:15 am (A brief orientation is first and interviews begin promptly @ 7:35
a.m.)
 This will take place in person in the commons

Our 2nd annual “Ignite the Future” promises to be an informative and rewarding experience for
