Thank you for your believ-
ing prayers that carried us
through this journey. God is
good!
KIBUYE,BURUNDI
Mike had a great time train-
ing the 17 African medical
students as well as our
team. The many surgeries
included cleft lips, hydro-
cephalus ,C-sections and
goiters.
Our team of nine, invited
the medical students for
snacks and games at our
house. It was a great time
of connecting despite the
power going out. They re-
ciprocated and had us in the
dorms and asked if they
could discuss spiritual
things. There were several
great conversations with
the spiritually hungry stu-
dents.
One of our teammates,
Noralea prayed by faith,
hundreds would hear the
gospel .God answered! Over
500 barefoot children heard
the good news and a third
of those said yes to Jesus!
Many more asked great
questions and were hungry
for more.
Dripping paint on patients
was not our intent but it
happened a few times as we
painted the overflowing
maternity wards. We drew
quite a crowd as we painted
a happy mural of Noahs ark
on a wall in the childrens
ward.
We preached in 2 churches
where at least 20 people
came forward to commit
their lives to Christ. We
were welcomed warmly and
had great fellowship with
these believers.

The Lord was definitely direct-
ing our steps and keeping us
from harm. 17 of us crossed
the border into CONGO riot-
ing crowds blocked us. We
prayed and passed through
unharmed. Our mission to the
Pygmies was cancelled be-
cause of no transportation
and there were rebels in an
alternate location. However
God had other plans and we
were able to teach in schools,
churches and paint a house.
At NUNDU hospital we pre-
formed surgeries ,taught in
the chapel everyday, and
preached in the local church.
Despite curses from witchdoc-
tors and fetishes buried at
the hospital God reigned. The
PASTOR'S CONFERENCE
was great. Pastors walked for
days to get there. Opposing
tribes learned side by side; a
first since the war. Thank
you .To God be the glory !
