order. Make sure you understand what you have to do. Let me know if something is not clear. Write

1b– 1c – 1d & 1e.

Activity 4 – Grammar – Verb to be: Go to page 11 from your student’s book and do exercises 4a &
4c.

Activity 5 – Vocabulary – Countries and Nationalities. Watch the following videos about countries
and nationalities. Pay attention to pronunciation and take notes.

Activity 6 – Vocabulary and Grammar. Let’s focus on how the preposition “FROM” is used when we
mention people’s origin, it could be a country or city. But, we do not have to apply the preposition “from”
when we mention the nationality. Look at the following image and take notes.
Activity 7 – Vocabulary – Nationalities. According to the pictures, complete the sentences.
Activity 8 – Vocabulary – Countries and nationalities: Go to the following websites, and do some
exercises related to countries and nationalities. The exercises are checked by the website
automatically.

Activity 11 – Writing – Everyday English: Go to page 13 - part 6 from your student’s book and
complete the conversation in exercise a.
Wednesday (October 27th)

Activity 12 – Vocabulary – Home town: Go to page 15 from your student’s book, and look at the
picture. After that, answer the questions a1, a2, a3, a4 & b in your notebook.

After that, listen to the track1.38 and pay attention to the conversation. You can use the following link

Activity 13 – Vocabulary – Cities, towns and villages: Let’s focus on some differences among these
places. Look at the following images, analyze them and write some adjectives to describe each place.

Activity 14 – Vocabulary – Adjectives: Look at the following adjectives word wheel and look for the
meaning of each word. After that, write eight sentences describing your community, you can write
affirmative and negative sentences.
