Anastasia

Hello, I am Anastasia Romanov. We lived in an enchanted world of elegant palaces and grand festivities. In 1916, my father
Nicholas was the Tsar of Russia, and I was the youngest of the Romanovs. On the day we were celebrating our family's
tricentennial reign, Rasputin returned to cast a spell upon us. He said, "You and your family shall perish in fifteen days. I
will not rest until I see the end of the Romanovs and their dynasty forever." Rasputin had sold his soul in exchange for the
power to destroy my family, and from that moment on, misery spread throughout the country, causing people to turn
against us.
We tried to escape, but the revolutionaries killed my entire family, except for my grandmother. I attempted to flee to Paris
with her, but we got separated on the train tracks. I lived for many years in St. Petersburg without remembering my past,
as I was very young when I became separated from my grandmother. For the past ten years, I have been in an orphanage
and adopted the name Anya. I only kept the necklace that my grandmother gave me on that fateful day of Rasputin's
curse. The necklace is engraved with the words "Together in Paris," and that is my goal: to find a home with whatever
remains of my family.
Anastasia's speaking voice is provided by Meg Ryan, while her singing voice is provided by Liz Callaway. As a child,

This a story based on the real daughter of Tsar Nicholas II; the youngest sister of Grand Duchesses Olga, and the older
sister of Tsarevich/Grand Duke Alexei. The truth Anastasia was killed in 1918 during the execution of the Romanov family.
Anastacia's true origins eluded her until a new encounter with her grandmother, made possible by Dimitri's assistance.
Initially skeptical of her royal lineage, Dimitri gradually comes to believe in her identity as the princess. In a climactic turn
of events, Anastacia successfully vanquishes Rasputin, for that achieving a heartfelt reunion with her grandmother.
However, instead of embracing her princess title, she opts to forgo it, choosing to embark on a new adventure with Dimitri,
their destination set for France.
