… Sadly still one of the most underrated bikes from the house of Harley. O.K., the standard look isn’t so great. But are the other models any better? I don’t think so.
The Sporty has unbeatable handling, but fitting some excellent Lottermann parts can improve it further.
In this catalogue we concentrate, with a few exceptions, on the models from 93 onward fitted with a belt drive. Of course we have other kits & parts for older Sportys.

Need I say more? Perhaps just this: We get the Zero Cool Supertrapp sound by modifying the s/steel Enamel Coating Zero Cool Exhaust Matt Black CP 900510
Supertrapp silencers to fit on the chunky 60mm downpipes, also in s/steel. The pipe layout, especially the rear, Ceramic Coating Zero Cool Exhaust Matt Black PB 900510
means they have equal lengths, so back pressure in each one is almost identical. Ensuring power is maintained.

Does it get any better? Of course:
Sound adjustable end caps are permitted by the EG-BE (EU Approval). Closed the system is TüV Approved.
Open produces that unique US sound. The adjustment can be carried out in seconds with a simple allen key
wrench. If that’s not something, I don’t know what is ...
It’s really true. We’ve found a coater who can offer this service. How? It’s really quite simple - enamel doesn’t
lose it’s colour. The “only” problem is actually applying it to the exhaust system. That’s a company secret, but just
so you know: The enamel coating is baked on at 900°C at the end of this process. That lasts a life time.
Colours: Unfortunately this process is only available in gloss black. If you want a matt finish you should choose a
ceramic coating or have the enamel coating bead blasted matt. The colour, however, will be matt anthracite.

Stainless Steel Heatshields Ceramic Coating (Ceramic Exhaust Coating)

We developed our Exhaust Heatshields after many requests from our customers. Made from the same high
quality stainless steel as the exhaust system itself. We took care when designing them to ensure only the most
important areas of the downpipes are covered, not the whole system. This ensures that burnt calves, melted
boots, etc. are a thing of the past.
The heatshields come polished to a mirror finish in a kit with 5 s/steel clamps.
This is a cheaper alternative. According to the coater it doesn’t discolour either, but that can’t be guaranteed. The
surface is a little less robust, similar to normal paintwork. So there’s NO GUARANTEE against mechanical
damage of any kind, i.e. scratching. The coating is, however, baked on at 350°C, resulting in a smooth, evenly 5-02
coated surface.
Colours: Matt black. Other colours on request.

Before we start: To pretend we’ve re-invented the wheel would be exaggerating. But: All our wheels are “Made in Germany”. We only work with DIN ISO certified suppliers. This ensures top quality. On this page you’ll find a short sum-
mary of the different wheels we offer in our Wide Tyre kits. I’ve concentrated on the most important aspects. For further info, i.e. powder coating, technical details, etc. go to Parts, Pages 8-01 to 8-04.

Stainless Steel Wheel Zero Cool Wheel
S/steel wheel, with 40 or 80 spokes. Without doubt one of the most exquisite wheels on the market. The centre
S/steel hub, spokes & rim. Ready to mount & polished. is machined on the CNC mill. The outer rim is “forged.”
TüV: Both versions have TüV Approval. That means maximum strength. It comes fully polished.
TüV: Zero Cool wheels are TüV Approved.
Cut Out Disc Wheel, modified
In principle all “cut out” (slots under the rim) disc wheels are suitable for
modification. Here’s how we do it: The original old rims are removed & new,
wider rims are fitted. The “new” wider wheel is complete, now the surface
finish just needs attention, i.e. polishing. (Included in the wide tyre kit).

"Old Hub": !?! Three Piece Disc Wheel

What does this mean? If your bike has a 40 spoke rear wheel as standard, The three piece disc wheel is a modification of the HD disc wheel. The 16”
we can retain the hub. The kit has all the parts required to construct a wider solid disc wheels of the Softail models are ideal for this. here’s how we do
wheel. So you just re-spoke & true it. Of course we can do that for you. it. The original HD rim is removed & a wider, 16” or 17” rim is bolted on. The
(Not available for all kits). “new” wheel’s done (18” is only available as a new wheel). You can choose

The Sportster Wide Tyre Kits, without frame modification, in the HD Swing Arm.
Let’s begin with the starter kits. This is especially great value as the original swing arm is retained. Sportys from 1993-2003 can have a 150 tyre fitted on the standard wheel. On models from 2004 on a 180 tyre on a 4.5" rim is possible.
In both cases the HD rear fender (lightly modified) can be retained. In our example we’ve shortened it a little to show off more of the wider tyre. A Stiletto rear fender (optionally available) is even better as the original is a tight fit.

 The Sportster 200/50-17" Low Profile tyre on 5.5", without frame modification, in our Wide Tyre Swing Arm.
Here we present kits for all those proud owners who want to fit a 200 tyre to their baby. A low profile tyre emphasises the sporty look. Kits come with our Sporty steel wide tyre swing arm. You can also choose the aluminium Neo
Classic swing arm. We have the required supplementary kit available. Rear ends for up to 2003 use the Flat fender. The lovely Stiletto fender is also available as an option & again we have the supplementary kit required. from 2004 on
the kits come with the Stiletto as standard. The HD seat can’t be used with the Flat fender but can be retained if the Stiletto is fitted.

The Sportster 200 16" Standard Tyre on 5.5", without frame modification, in our Wide Tyre Swing Arm.
Do you want something more? Then this is for you. The 200 standard tyre looks wider than the same size low profile version, but they are the same width. These kits are also supplied with our steel wide tyre swing arm. Again you can
also select our aluminium Neo Classic swing arm. Just order the required supplementary kit at the same time. Up to 2003 a Flat Fender is supplied, naturally the Stiletto fender is also available, with the required supplementary kit. From
2004 the kit comes with the Stiletto as standard. The HD seat can’t be used with the Flat fender but can be retained if the Stiletto is fitted.

Stiletto Rear Fender Front Fender

With a wide tyre conversion there’s no detail more important, apart from the tyre, than the rear fender.
Our Stiletto rear ends are the nicest on the market. A unique curvaceous flowing form, made from 2mm sheet
steel. For standard & wide tyres (see Table). Two lengths are available:
Stiletto Medium: A nice short fender but still strong & long enough to mount a pillion pad.
Stiletto Long: The longer variant. Recommended for a touring seat or even if you just like it’s look. The original
seat will fit both versions. The fenders come with TüV Approval.
Individual universal Stiletto fenders & struts (as a pair) can be supplied but without TüV Approval.
Despite the massive choice available on the market, we’ve again found only the very best:
Tribal: The slimmest in this selection. Made from 2mm sheet steel, in 5 widths for 16“- 21“ diameter wheels.
Dagger: A shorter fender, made from 2mm sheet steel, also available in 5 widths for 16“- 21“ diameter wheels.
Sidestep: Do you want more? Then this is your first choice. Also made from 2mm sheet steel, in 5 widths for
16“- 21“ diameter wheels.

The Sportster Wide tyre swing arm. Aluminium or steel, there’s room for both to impress.
All our wide tyre swing arms are TüV Approved and robustly constructed. They come with locked eccentric adjusters, which also means that both sides are locked to each other by means of a profiled shaft end. When you turn one side
with a simple allen key wrench the other side moves as well. So 100% alignment is guaranteed.

Steel Wide Tyre Swing Arm 1983-2003
This provides plenty of room for a 200 tyre. The swing arm has to be about 2” longer to maintain the frame
geometry when using a wider tyre. And so it is. naturally with eccentric adjusters.
You get the swing arm itself, a longer axle, nuts, etc. two eccentric adjusters & TüV Approval.
The surface is bare steel which we can powder coat if you wish.
Steel Wide Tyre Swing Arm 2004 on
For models from 2004 on the swing arm has to be wider not longer. The new frame geometry of the Sportster
from this year on allows this. Naturally also with locked eccentric adjusters. For Sportys from 2005 on Harley
introduced a thicker axle, which of course we have taken into account.
You get the swing arm itself, a longer axle, nuts, etc. two eccentric adjusters & TüV Approval.
The surface is bare steel which we can powder coat if you wish.

Offset Pulleys: 1984 on
We make them in Germany from C45 steel. So they’re much stronger than the standard versions.
1984-1990: We only have a 29 tooth pulley for these models.
1991-2003: Available for the 883 with 27 teeth, (from experience we also offer a 28 tooth pulley), & for the 1200
one with 29 teeth. The inner splines fit all 5 speed models from 1995 on. It can be used on models from 91-94,
however the bush behind the pulley has to be machined (we can do this for you).
2004 on: Harley changed the ratios from 2004 on, so this meant we had to new offset belt pulleys. The 883
models went up to 28 teeth & the 1200 to 30 teeth.
Offset Pulley with integrated support bearing:
The total width of this pulley is 60mm. It has an integrated sealed support bearing. The aluminium cage transfers
the load to the engine housing. The pulley has 28 teeth. The kit comes with a pulley, alu cage, bushes & screws.
The correct belt must be fitted: Sportys to 03 must have a 135 tooth belt (HD 40307-00) fitted.
Models 2004 on: 883 retain the standard belt. 1200er must also have a 135 tooth belt (HD 40307-00) fitted.
Bush/Screw Kit Offset Pulley & Sprocket w/o suppt. bearing
When offset pulleys or sprockets are fitted the side cover must usually be re-positioned outwards. we have a kit
comprising aluminium bushes & stainless steel screws for this.

according to the tyre width. Just look at the tables, with sketches according to the build year. come from the original supplier for just that purpose. they have 136 teeth. For rare cases, like the Swiss ratios,
there’s also one with 133 teeth available.

The Sportster Something wide & strong... Triple Trees & Brakes
Triple Trees, in Wide Glide, or Bob Style
Made from finest aluminium (also known as aircraft grade). The steering stem, bushes & axle are made from
s/steel. The trees come as a kit with the axle, spacers for the brake discs, all screws, etc. & of course TÜV
Approval. We supply the Wide Glide exclusively with 0° rake. The Bob Style comes in 0° & 5° rake. Both triple
trees are 250mm wide.
Light Bracket, for Wide Glide Triple Trees:
Custom Models (Lower light mounting): The light fits as before. Other Models (Upper light mounting): If you
wish to retain the original headlight a special bracket is required. (Two threaded holes have to be drilled in the
upper triple tree to mount this, which we are happy to do for you).
