Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers as they approach the cash register and assist with their purchases.
2. Accurately ring up sales using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
3. Handle cash, credit card, and check payments and provide customers with accurate changes.
4. Process returns and exchanges according to company policies.
5. Ensure that all cash transactions are properly recorded and balanced at the end of each shift.
6. Maintain accurate cash drawer counts and follow cash management procedures.
7. Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
8. Keep the cash register area clean and organized.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure that the store is well-stocked and organized.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager.
