Non-Parametric Test

Directions:

1. Follow the procedure/steps in the hypothesis testing, analysis and


interpretation of data.

2. Use 0.05 level of significance.

3. Assume that that performance in math science and English were not normally
distributed.

4. Based on your random sample in the previous learning activity 4 of hypothesis


testing perform the following:

a. Test the hypothesis that there is no significant difference between the


performance of students in Math and English.

b. Test the hypothesis that there is no significant difference between


the performance of students in English when grouped according to their
gender.

c. Test the hypothesis that there is no significant difference between


the performance of students in Math, English and Science.

d. Test the hypothesis that there is no significant difference between


the performance of students when grouped according to year level.

e. Test the hypothesis that there is no significant association between the


year/grade level and socio-economic status of the students.
