Diagnostic assignment

The purpose of this assignment is to identify your assets and areas to

improve in pronunciation so as to let you know which sounds need
special attention before we start working on the oncoming units.

Record a video of about one and a half minute introducing yourself

(name, age, where you are from, your job, previous studies…), and talking
about the following topics:

• How did you learn the language?

• How do you feel about your speaking skills and your

pronunciation?

• Are you in contact with the language? How? (songs, series, films,
social media, etc.)

• What are your expectations about this teacher training programme

and this course specifically?

You may use your mobile phone or computer to record the video. You
must upload it to Google Drive, One Drive or any other online storage tool
and paste the link below.
 Since it is your pronunciation what will be assessed, every time you
record an audio file or video, make sure the volume is adjusted
properly, also speak clearly and slowly into the microphone.
