Greetings!

In order to comply with the requirements for the subject Research 1, the Grade 9 students of
the Laboratory Schools are required to undergo several research evaluation processes. To move
forward with their research paper and as compliance for their 4th quarter requirements, they need to
pass the oral presentation of their respective research chapters 1 to 3. For this quarter, we have
arranged a face to face defense schedule for the students.
In this connection, we would like to inform you and ask for your consent to allow your
son/daughter/ward to attend to the scheduled defense on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 8:00 am to
12:00nn. Please do take note that only the student researchers who are scheduled for the day shall
be allowed on the school grounds. This will also be coordinated with the Laboratory School Principal
and the Guard on Duty. This is to ensure that the campus policy of limited face to face interaction and
minimum health protocols will still be followed.
Attached is the time/schedule of defense for your guidance and perusal. If conformed, kindly
affix your signature together with your name in the space provided below. This letter shall also serve
as an agreement that you have given your consent for your son/daughter/ward to attend to the face
to face defense.
