Assalamualaikum and very good day.

My name is Aiman Nur

Hakim bin Azzizi and today I will make a presentation regarding
my overall exp when using digital crowdsourcing platform. To
be honest with you guys, this task is quiets challenging
because as we already know, this is a new thing to do and
learn and new thing always come with big unexpected event.

First of all, let me show to you guys my registration in

crowdsourcing platform. For my cases, I only manage and force
my self to register in five different digital crowdsourcing
platform. For example, here I already register in freelancer,
guru.com, upwork, people per hour and design contest. Believe
me, each of the platform have its unique presentation and
feature. For example, people per hour can give you up into 30
bids in a short period of time, not like freelancer who just giving
8 bids per day and it kind bad for freelancer. But, thank you to
Madam Sharifah, we can upgrade our package in the
freelancer for free and get to keep bidding,, up to 100 bids and
that is kind of amazing.

Now, lets we take a look on my registration with gateway

Paypal. As we can see here, I already registred with Paypal
here since 2020 but that will show nothing in our presentation
today. Aside from Paypal, I also link it with my master card, so I
can choose between this two, which one is more familiar and
applicable for different crowdsourcing platform.
And now, here we have my total bid and contest I join for each
platform. Let we make a simple calculation here, 26 plus 2 is
28, plus with another 10 and 12, that will make it 50 and we
have 3 and 1, so we have a total of 54 bids and contest here.
Not gonna lie, this is not something I usually do, but why not
right?

5 Next, we have a sample of one of the best cover letters that I

had made. Hi, I am the right person for you project. Appraise
my self and being confident, that’s the key. Experienced in
graphic and logo design for three years, there is a grammatical
error here. Don’t worry, that is intentional for my future secret
plan. Blas blab la blab la, and then I ask a question to get the
attention of the client. Hey, how long is the duration of the
project. And the last thing to do, giving a thanks to the client as
sign of appreciation.

But unfortunately, my secret plan did not go too well. All my

effort on bidding is a waste because none of it are accepted by
the client. So, I need to find an alternative and fast. So, I join a
total of three contest. And as you guys can see, out of
nowhere, I manage to win a contest. Yep, it is what it is.

7 Here is the number of star rating that I get and as you can
see, I manage to get 5star from my client. As for the client
reciew, he said that it is nice, cimple and minimalist. That all for
this slide, nothing to be proud.
Actually, the reason behind it is, no one join the contest
because of the prize. As you can see, there are actually no one
join the contest because they only offered 10 USD. Maybe in
the eyes of other, there is not a lot, but for me, this is an
opportunity. So, I join it and unfortunately, I win, yeahhh. Oh
yeah, BTW, 10USD is equivalent to abour RM 44 and it is worth
the effort.

Lastly before we end, here is my SWOT analysis for my overall

experience when using digital crowdsourcing platform. For
strength, I am more focus to objective. I also kind of creative,
but I would say creative in my own way. Next, I am can be
negotiable and like to communicate with the client. For my
weakness, eventhough I am an objective person, I like to do it
in my way and most of it, I do it the way I like. Plus, I just go
with the flow and sometimes, I take a lot of time to settled it. As
for my opportunities and treat. I am a newbie in this field, so I
did not have much exp and I did not know the range price that I
should put for a project. But as it is, that means there are lot
more thing I can explore by my self to get more job and there
are many fresh ideas circulating in my head… Sooo, that all by
me, thanks for lending your ear guys, thank you

Now lets we move to the next point, which is example of E-

wallet companies or E-wallet platform that exist in Malaysia. As
we already know, they are various kind of E-wallet out there
and each of it has its own modus operand and objective. But let
we put it aside first and look for some example of E-wallet in
Malaysia. So, from the slide, we have Boost, Grab pay,
Shopee, Touch & Go and the remaining two are Merchant
money and Alipay. Let me explain a little bit from some of the
example. The most popular one for sure is Boost. Boost, is one
of the arms or branches of Axiata Group Bhd. We can put our
money in Boost and it is easy to be done. Generally, all E-
wallet platform that I mention earlier, can be top up through
online banking or debit card. If there is a situation that we short
of money in our E-wallet, we just can simply top up at that
moment at that time without going anywhere. Just imagine if we
are not using E-wallet and we stuck in the same situation, by
hook or by crook, we need to search for ATM machine just to
get additional money. What I try to mention here is, we have
easy access to our own money by using any E-wallet. But there
is a special thing about Boost, we can used it at various place
and merchant. Let we compare it with Shopee. For your
information, we can buy anything from any merchant in
Shopee, but we cannot use it to pay for reality payment. What I
mean is, if we go to the real store and we want to pay, we
cannot used Shopee, but we can used Boost or Grab pay. I did
not say that Shopee is bad and Boost is good, what I try to tell
you is, every E-wallet have their own speciality and different
field of work.

So here we go to our next point which is the modus operand

and shariah adaptation of E-wallet. For my example here, let
me explain about Maybank MAE (Maybank Anytime
Everywhere). As its names, this wallet is being provided by
Maybank itself as an extra service for their investor which is us.
A bank industry is a business entity and not charity industry.
So, their main objective is to gain as much profits as they can.
By providing Maybank MAE, people can spend their money,
anytime everywhere.

This wallet acts like a trust account as it stores money.

Hence the presumed Shariah contract would wadiah. Since
they limit the amount to RM4999 only to lower the risk of
losses, it is presumed to be under the wadiah contract as they
do not guarantee that the users’ money is insured by PIDM
(Product Disclosure Sheet-MAE, 2019). Hence, noting that the
money in these wallets are not used by Maybank, as such
usage of this money would automatically violate the wadiah
principle in general. The controversial issue raised by the public
is when the game built in this app offers rewards to users in
monetary form. Because I said that it pegged is wadiah, any
type of reward would not pose any Shariah issue and can be
considered as hibah.
