EVERY BELIEVER HAS A
STORY TO SHARE

Tom shares his own powerful testimony of how he became

born again and on fire for Jesus. It all started with one simple
interaction with a believer, and his whole life was changed!

Sharing what Jesus has done in you is powerful. Even if, in the
moment, nothing appears to be happening on the outside, a
seed has been planted on the inside. We can trust that God is
always moving and pursuing people with His love.

HERE ARE 5 STEPS TO
SIMPLIFY SHARING THE
GOSPEL:

1. All of us are created in the image and likeness of God.

We have God in our very DNA, and you were made good
by design. (Here would be a good time to share any
encouragement, prophetic words, and to point out the gold you
see in them.)

2. Sin came into the world and tainted human hearts.

There was separation from God, and this broke God’s heart
because He loves us so much.

3. God sent Jesus to bridge the gap between us.

He did this by taking on the sin of the world and dying on the
cross. He rose again, having destroyed the power of sin, death,
and darkness. Being born again gives people a way back to God.

4. We must become born again.

To be born again, you must turn away from sin and turn to God,
receiving His love and letting go of the things that had kept you
in darkness.

5. Then you are a new creation.

The Holy Spirit comes to live inside of you, and you enter into
a relationship with God. You are then restored to your true
identity—a child of God, walking out your life in the light of His
love.

REMEMBER:

1. Your story is significant. It has the power to awaken someone

to Jesus because He is in it.

2. Your story doesn’t need to be neatly packaged or look like

anyone else’s. The same presence of God that touched your life
is released into others’ lives when you tell it.

3. It is impossible to share the gospel with somebody and for

nothing to happen. The person will always walk away having true
love demonstrated before them.

YOUR STORY CARRIES THE POWER AND LOVE
OF GOD THAT WILL CHANGE PEOPLE’S LIVES.
