1. In my own opinion, Being responsible in tourism and all it implies. Here are some examples:
reducing harms, offering economic advantages for host communities, including local people in
decision making, safeguarding natural and cultural heritage, fostering meaningful relationships
between visitors and local people, and being accessible and culturally sensitive. And all of this is
necessary in order to be "responsible". Hence, in order for me and my knowledge of these
givens to be held accountable, the first step is to minimize the consequences. This is extremely
important to me in terms of limiting the potentially damaging effects of various irresponsible
human activities on our environment and on our own people. Decreased use of plastics, use of
solar power as a source of electricity, recycling plastics, and use of air as a source of electricity
are just a few examples. To summarize, and based on my full observation in the first video I
watched, a lot needs to be done to be responsible for tourism and our environment, but we are
also to blame for why our countermeasures have reached this level, so let's all face it and work
together because we're all in the same world. And in here, are the things that must be done in
order to become an ethical tourist, and it is apparent that the tourists were violated while
traveling. Take notice of the following: use the environment sustainably and don't trash; save
water and nature; and avoid watching shows where animals amuse the audience. Avoid feeding
wild animals as well; instead, go for leisure tourism, bio-fueled aircraft, and ground
transportation. Furthermore, carry a water bottle instead of disposable cups. Respect social and
cultural norms by learning the local language. Give no money to beggars.
2. For me, and based on my understanding To be an approved homestay, proprietors must assure
the safety, sanitation, and availability of rooms as well as other essential amenities such as clean
rest rooms and kitchens, as well as a constant water supply. This is why a homestay facility's
certification is so important: it ensures that the facility is secure and hygienic for visitors or
tourists that stay there. Because it is also important for the owner's and the location's image
that the guest's review or feedback on the facility they stayed in is positive and leads to their
return.
3. In my own elaboration about the difference between homestay and a hotel, the main distinction
between a hotel and a homestay is that hotels cater to you. You provide additional services. A
hotel provides cleaning services, a front desk reception, a concierge, security, room service if
desired, toiletries, and other facilities such as a pool, fitness center, and restaurant. Check-in is
frequently available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In a homestay, you'll have a clean
space/apartment, clean linens, towels, soap, and frequently coffee and tea making amenities.
Your host may even leave you a welcome gift of fruit, juice, and milk. Coffee and tea are
frequently available. With a homestay, you have complete access to the apartment and can
rummage through anything is in the cabinets. But if I would be choosing between the two I
prefer homestay because, More tranquillity, more quality time. Homestays are an excellent
option if you want to get away from city life. Because they are smaller than hotels, homestays
normally do not accommodate more than 10 people. This simply means that you will have more
quality time with yourself, your family, or your friends. A homestay is just a portion of
someone's house that has been transformed into a hotel. A homestay is comparable to a bed &
breakfast in concept. Visitors are housed either in the family home or in separate rooms nearby.
Currently, most homestays provide their visitors the same level of comfort as a good hotel.
4. The difference between interpretation and simply providing information is that the simply
providing information is based on facts, research that has been proven and tested by experts, or
it is also based on what is truly the truth and there is no mixed opinion or, to put it another way,
it is objective, whereas the interpretation is based on facts but is mixed with how you see
something or what your perspective is on certain things or topics that are being discussed. To
put it simply, it's becoming more subjective.
