 Students of Classes IV to VIII read Hindustan Times Student’s edition as part of the HT
PACE programme and students of Classes IX to XII read Times of India Student’s edition
as part of the Times NIE programme.
 These are ongoing programmes to inculcate the habit of reading and enhance the reading
skills of learners.
 Student’s contributions in the form of poems, articles, quotes, portraits, paintings, sketches
were published on a regular basis in both the newspapers.
 Mrs Poonam S Rampal’s article on ‘War is a cowardly escape from the problems of peace'
was published in TOI Student’s edition on 1 st April 2022 and a quotation on Gandhi Jayanti
was also published.
 Articles on Basant Panchami, creating an engaging and thought-provoking classroom for
students, and ‘How to ace the Class XII English Board paper’ written by Mrs Alka Singh
were published in HT and TOI student’s edition.
 Since AFGJI is a knowledge partner of HT School, Mrs Alka Singh attended the ID8 event
organised by Hindustan Times in HT House, on 14 th February 2022.
 Reports of school events like Interviews, farewells, Release of School magazines, Book
Meet, CBSE board exam results, Inter-school online competitions, Disability week,
Inauguration of basketball court etc. were published in TOI and HT student’s edition.
 Newspaper reading and discussion sessions were conducted by all the subject teachers
daily for enhancing the reading skills and upgrading their general awareness.
 BYJUs school super league aptitude test was organised by TOI for Classes III to X on 12 th
October 2022.
 IMS CUET Aptitude test was organised for Classes XI and XII on 12 th October 2022 by HT
 In Delhi Schools ranking published by The Times of India on 27 th September 2022, AFGJI
was ranked 8th among the south-west Delhi leaders.
 Students participated in International Yoga Day competition organised by Hindustan Times
on 20th June 2022.
 Students of Primary and Senior Wing participated in Smartacus, National Inter-school quiz,
organised by HT on 15th August 2022.
 CSP E-book packages by HT PACE was given to all the teachers.
 Students of all the 3 Wings participated in a Caption writing contest organised by the TOI in
October 2022.
 An HT Codeathon workshop was organised for students and afterwards students
participated in HT Codeathon in December 2022.
 HT organised a workshop on Group Discussion which was conducted by Manav Rachna
University on 20th December 2022 for Classes XI and XII.
