This guide has been produced to illustrate the Cognito iQ Mobile (v4.0.0+) installation process for an Android device.
Please note a Samsung Galaxy S6 was used for illustration purposes and some screens may differ from those shown.
Pre-requisites:
• Only Cognito iQ can provide valid registration keys. Do not re-use registration keys.
• The device must have a good active internet connection. If used on a corporate Wi-Fi, ensure proxies and
firewalls are not blocking access.
• Ensure ‘Unknown sources’, within the device ‘Settings’ section, has been enabled. If this has not been enabled,
you will be prompted to enable it when downloading Cognito iQ Mobile.

Installation:
1. Obtaining the software – On the device, access the Cognito iQ Mobile download area using the link provided by
Cognito iQ.

2. Android Cognito iQ Mobile – Select Android, then Cognito iQ Mobile to begin the download. Once the download is
complete, select the completed download notification to begin the installation process.

3. Cognito iQ Mobile Registration – Once installed the Cognito iQ Mobile application appears in the application list on
the device. Selecting Cognito iQ Mobile opens the application and requests the Registration Key (provided by
Cognito iQ).

4. Authentication – Use the on-screen keyboard, or copy and paste function of the device, to enter the Registration
Key provided by Cognito iQ. Select Accept to begin the authentication and profiling process.

5. Installation of Intelligent Workflow – Once the workflow and lookup lists are downloaded and installed, the Logon
screen is displayed. The application is now ready for use.
