1. PURPOSE
This document is prepared to define the *** Site Acceptance Test (SAT) test items, test procedure, “Pass / Fail”
criteria, handling of discrepancies and pre-requisites of SAT.
The SAT is performed to demonstrate that the *** satisfies the requirements defined in the Project Specification
Documents issued by SEPCO. It also verifies the proper implementation and installation of the *** engineering drawings /
documents, which are developed based on design inputs from SEPCO and reviewed / approved by SEPCO / SAUDI
ARAMCO.
SAT shall demonstrate at site that the hardware and software functionality of the *** satisfy requirements defined in
the specification documents. It also includes integration with other Sub-systems to verify proper functioning of the interface.
2. SCOPE
Scope of the SAT is as follows:
1. *** will prepare the ‘SAT PROCEDURE & REPORT’ for ***, based on the requirements of
SEPCO / SAUDI ARAMCO, and submit for review and approval during ***.
2. *** SAT includes ‘*** Test’with various Sub-Systems.
3. Vendor will supply qualified manpower(vendor engineer/technician) at site as per SEPCO/SAUDI ARAMCO’s
requirement.
4. SEPCO / SAUDI ARAMCO shall arrange installation of necessary components required for ***SAT.

3.1 Definitions
All terms and phrases within the scope of this specification shall be regarded as defined in the
regulations and international codes and specifications referred to in this document.
Shall Shall is an absolute requirement which shall be followed strictly in order to conform to the specification.
Should Should is a recommendation. Alternative solutions having the same functionality and quality are acceptable.
May Verbal form used to indicate a course of action permissible within the limits of the
specification.
