1. The Proper planning and preparation are essentials for the effective
completion of work-based task.

EXPLANATION:

Planning:
Theme parks, restaurants, and hotels can increase revenue and brand affinity by
developing an engaging consumer event strategy that will encourage visitors to
come back repeatedly throughout the year.
Preparation
Hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, sandwich shops, and similar establishments that
produce food for clients to eat on the premises or to takeaway are included in the
hospitality sector. These establishments must demonstrate the safety of their
food handling and preparation procedures and maintain records to support this.

2. PURPOSE OF PLAN (page 4)

A plan gives your business a solid foundation and can be used as a roadmap for
profitability and success in the years ahead. In this blog we'll run through why it's

To understand the plan are anything that aims to identify: what is to be achieved...

the front desk and room service to the human resources
department. Hotel organizational structures are necessary to ensure
maximum profitability from each room, restaurant and bar on a
daily basis.
Efficiently - working or operating in an organized, quick, and effective way
Explanation: means to succeed in the fast-paced hospitality industry, a hotel needs
to be as efficient as possible when it comes to its operational capabilities. Guests
have higher standards than ever and expect a faultless experience whenever they
stay at a hotel, so improving operational efficiency is a must.

Effectively - the service or the product itself meets quality standard


and the job is well done.
Explanation: The capability to communicate effectively with colleagues, guests,
and staff is the most important quality in the hospitality industry. In this new
generation of electronic communication, no one should forget the most necessary
skill of communication that is verbal and non-verbal, and one should emphasize
and execute these skills in the hospitality industry.

4. REFLECTION OF PLAN (Page 5)


Explanation: In this reflection paper I will be reflecting on
marketing in hospitality industry. I will be giving personal examples
and thoughts related with different topics which are “service
characteristics of hospitality and tourism marketing” and “market
segmentation, targeting, and positioning”. I will be referring
textbook when it is needed.

Explanation: Becoming an effective team player is very essential for the


success of not only the team itself but also of the business as a whole. If
you know how to encourage teamwork in hospitality then for sure you’re
success in the industry you’re working with is possible.

managers a performance overview of the hotel. Analytics is a set of metrics
which helps the hotel managers.
Production Plan- is a management function that involves planning
organizing, directing, coordinating, motivating, staffing and controlling of
activities in the store and inventory control.

Budgetary Plan - Through the operating budget, management of a hotel


is able to compare planned and actual values in business in a financial year
and this continuously examines the results of its operations.

Team Participation – The work team is the creative team that are the
people who come together to improve the work of the organization
Work schedules – Work scheduling is the most essential and the most
complex task in service Industry. Work scheduling involves putting the
right people on the right jobs at the right times to meet customer
demand.

Team and Individual learning goals. -


Working as a team will ensure better and improved customer service.
The whole team will work as per their skills, and that can be very handy to
deliver flawless customer service. Both teamwork and individual work are
important in making decisions and managing a business in the hospitality
industry.
