Router

o Connect the router’s power cable to the power source. 1

o Plug one side of the ADSL cable 2 to the Modem 4 under the label “Line”.
o Plug the other end of the ADSL cable 2 to the splitter (6)
6 under the label “Modem”.
o Plug main phone line (3)
3 into splitter 6 under the label “Line”.
o Connect to the router using your PC via wireless or wired connection. 5

After installing the router software, double Software will open and a box will appear indicating that router
click on “Etisalat Router Configuration.exe”. is not detected. So you have to wait till router is detected.

If your router is new (didn`t change the

admin password) you can keep the default
Once the router is detected & type is known the configuration

You will then have to enter the connection

username (provided by Etisalat Technical
Support) in the “Connection username
field”, then enter your phone number into
the “Phone Number field”.

If it the 1st installation; keep the Connection password Default checked, if not select the
New Password button then type the password (provided by Etisalat Technical Support).

After entering all the data correctly (following step 1 to 6 ) press the “Configure Modem”
button, and you are ready to enjoy your SMART Etisalat ADSL service.
