LEAD College of Management

Schedule for Major Project Study

In view of the fact that the Project Study is an integral part of MBA Programme and the same provides basic exposure for the students to
Problem Based Learning (PBL), the Institution places much importance to the effectiveness in conduct of such studies by the students. A road
map for the Main Project for Batch 2020 has been given under:

04 ZEROTH REVIEW Students are supposed to conduct desk research 28th 29th
on the company chosen and need to submit the May May
project synopsis.

05 Pre-joining A discussion either in person or through email 31st 2nd

research title itself. It should be ensured that the

organization to get good impression
which may even secure placement
opportunities for self and others.
d) Try to make use of all opportunities for
discussion to collect information on
various business aspects and research
aspects. Remember this is the finest
opportunity to get exposure to business
functioning before you take up a new job
on your own.
e) Indicate your requirements for meeting
institutional guide (dates may be decided
by the guide) and communicate the
schedule to them while joining the
organization

a) Final copy of Company Profile

b) Detailed profile of the functional


department where the student is
undertaking his research study
c) Final Research Proposal
d) Final Questionnaire

e) Progress report of data collection I

f) Progress report of data collection –II

g) First Progress report of Study by the


Organization Guide (format shall be
provided)

h) Second Progress report of Study by the


Organization Guide (format shall be
provided)

9 2ND REVIEW Report consists of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. 16th 18th July

10 VIVA-VOCE Submit the final report 28th 30th


July July
11 Project The following process shall be followed for
completion the satisfactory completion of the project
activities study.
a) Collate the data collected through
questionnaire.

b) Identify analysis tools.

c) Perform data analysis.

d) Interpret result.
e) Arrive at suggestions.

f) Finalise the chapter scheme of the


report.

g) Complete the report.

h) Submit first draft.

i) Submit Second Draft. Obtain the


college certificate on
recommendation of the guide.

j) Deliver presentation in front of a


Panel.

k) Discuss with the guide upon the


recommendations/comments offered
by the Panel.

l) Submit the final report (The format of


the report will be discussed in a
different note)
