Case Study - 1
How Aufait helped a large Middle East Utility Company with its Oracle – CC&B requirement
The Customer: Oman’s largest Utility company which is
into distribution and supply of electricity in the Sultanate
of Oman. The Company provides electricity for all
residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and
government sector.
Issues faced by the Customer : Customer’s resource
requirements were very diverse and immediate in nature,
as the implementation was large scale involving various
stake holders and associated group companies. This
entails hiring and retaining talent with diverse experience
and skill sets on a short notice. This was especially
difficult with the stringent work regulations in the Middle
East and lack of adequate talent in the market. Another
challenge was to ensure the quality and experience of the
resource.
Aufait’s solutions and its benefits: Aufait uses it huge
data bank and resources in its Indian offices, especially
Bangalore to ensure the quality resumes are shortlisted
as per the SLA’s. Oracle certified CC&B senior techno-
functional consultants were very few and most of them
were not ready to relocate. A three-tire interview
process is conducted to ensure technical quality of the
resource, followed by an interview for soft-skills, which
ensures the candidate, is sensitized about the cultural
and legal requirements of the region. This process helps
the client to save on the overall cost of hiring by
approximately 40%, and other administrative and
overhead costs in excess of 25%. Aufait’s solution also
helps when resources strength needs to be augmented
or scaled down depending on the product requirements
with out any cost.

How Aufait helped a Large Corporation in Qatar with Oracle Fusion Middleware resource requirements
• The Client: The ICT Division of a 30-year-old Large Corporation in
Qatar. Company is proud to have a customer base of more than
5,000 entities ranging from blue-chip enterprises to ministries and
SME private businesses and to support them in enhancing their IT
infrastructure and technological capabilities in line with Qatar’s
National Vision 2030.
• Issues faced by the client: The client wanted to hire an Oracle
Fusion Middleware resource responsible for providing prompt and
accurate technical support, related to products including Weblogic
infrastructure, Forms & Reports, Webcenter Portal , Webcenter
Sites and high level knowledge in OBIEE integration and SOA
platform. The Resource should also have hands on Extensive
experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware software installation.
configuration, upgrade and performance tuning experience in large-
volume production environments, while ensuring high levels of
customer satisfaction and adherence to Service Level Agreements
(SLAs). This position also required the ability to work independently,
make system critical decisions and communicate effectively. In
depth understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware architectural
elements was also required to support large installations.
