Christmas Joy: Warm Blessings Given to Shine in Children’s Hearts

Taytay National High School had an outreach program to brighten the less fortunate children’s
trying times this Christmas by giving out gifts and a fun time held at December 10, Saturday

“___” Melchizedek Manosig, one of the coordinators had an opening remark greeting everyone
with high spirit, thanking everyone for their cheerful presence.

The program flowed admirably, being filled with a handful of fun activities such as G7 Charity
singing, and even a Puppet Show further complimenting the joy with positive emotions seeing
the children wearing wide smiles on their faces.

One of the students from G7 Justice was asked what they think the children would feel if they
were at their place in this event; “Masaya po kasi kahit hindi mo sila kasama sa buhay
nabibigyan mo sila ng libreng laruan tsaka nakakakain ng libre” answers Y’llandro Evangelista.

The program initiated to fun games, one being the newspaper dance with parents and their
children, and another with students from Charity and Justice, a singing performance was then
followed by Justice followed with a brief giving of school supplies to the children.

“I feel happy noong binigay ko ang candies at old toys para sa less fortunate kids kahit sa maliit
na bagay” said Shane Renosa from G7 Charity about her experience.

G7 Charity later had a dance performance, shortly after it concluded the entirety of Charity and
Justice sang ‘Star ng Pasko’ with one of them being Santa Claus as they gave presents to the
children.

It truly brightens hearts seeing children have fun and laugh, bringing tears of joy to people
knowing these children truly are delighted at their experience dancing and singing while they’re
given blessings even for small things.
One of the children from the event was asked what they thought about it; “Masaya po dahil
nabigyan ako ng regalo” states Misty Dalafuente, sparking joy as she holds the gifts she
received.

“Masaya ako dahil syempre bata sila, nabibigyan ng regalo. Mas masaya ako dahil nakikita ko
silang nagkakasiyahan” Deza Alindao, parent of one of the participating kids gives her opinion
about seeing children having fun as they’re given gifts with a wide smile.

The coordinators’ hard work shows as the program is well distributed and planned out, and it is
rewarded knowing a bunch of less fortunate kids may one day become future leaders looking
back to know there is hope even from the hardships.

“Ang Christmas season kasi ay pagbibigayan. So nagbigay inspirasyon ang pagpapasaya ng

mga bata. At tsaka yung mga bata, mga estyudyante Grade 7 Charity at Justice, para
maranasan nila ang joy of giving” Mr. Manosig gives out his message about the event, with it
being concluded with a group picture with the coordinators and children that partook in the
program.
