Common Noun – general name or generic term for something. It begins

Proper Noun - is a specific name. It starts with a big letter.

LESSON 8 NUMBERS OF NOUN

SINGULAR NOUN- noun that is only one, it is singular in number.

PLURAL NOUN- noun that refers to two or more persons or things. It


is plural in number.

We add s to most nouns that are plural in numbers.

(The speaker and his companions own the house.)

Ex. The children play with their toys.

(The persons being talked about own the toys.)
