Charm Squares -total of 75 squares 5” x 5”
· 2 Charm packs of 42 each
· Or cut 75 squares 5” x 5”
Star Fabric - Total 1/2 yd
· Cut 5 squares 5” x 5” TIPS
· Cut 40 squares 3” x 3” · Layout the squares before
Draw a diagonal line on the back of each making the stars for color placement
· If using directional fabric, note
placement so they are the direction
Border Fabric - Total 1 1/4yd if you you want them to be.
Do not want to piece any border
Sections OR 2/3yd where you piece
The longest border
· Cut 1 strip 3” x 41” See my
· Cut 1 strip 3” x 34.5” Triangle Book
· Cut 1 strip 3” x 32” for step by
· Cut 1 strip 3” x 18.5” step photos
of sew and flip
· Cut 1 strip 3” x 16.5”
· Cut 1 strip 3” x 12”
· Cut 4 rectangles 3” x 5”
· Cut 1 square 3” x 3”

Binding Fabric 1/2 yd

right sides together. sew ON the line.

9) Following diagram sew the center in rows.
Then sew the rows to each other.
TIP - Press seam allowances all to the right on 1st row, then all to the left on the 2nd row.
Repeat so that rows nest together nicely.
Measures 40.5” x 50.5”
