Your class has watched a studio discussion on the role of music in society.

You have made the notes below:

The role of music in society:

• enriching people's lives

• uniting social groups

• educating young children

Some opinions expressed in the discussion:

"The purpose of music is to bring beauty to our lives."

"Music can help bring different people together."

'Music lessons at school can improve learning in other subjects."

Write an essay for your tutor discussing two of the roles of music in society in your notes. You should explain which role is more
significant giving reasons to support your opinion. You may, if you wish, make use of the opinions expressed in the discussion,
but you should use your own words ester as possible.

Music has been an integral part of human culture for centuries. It has played a vital role in
enriching people's lives, uniting social groups, and educating young children. In this essay, I will
discuss two roles of music in society, the ability to enrich people's lives and educating young
children.

One of the most significant roles of music in society is its ability to enrich people's lives. Music
has the power to evoke emotions, inspire, and uplift people. For example, Parazitii's song
"Instigare la Cultura" is a great example of how music can bring beauty and meaning to people's
lives. This song inspires people to think about the world around them and be more aware of
social and cultural issues in society.

However, in my opinion, the role of music in educating young children is more significant than
its ability to enrich people's lives. This is because education is essential for the growth and
development of society. Music can play a vital role in the education of young children by
developing their cognitive, emotional, and social skills, which are necessary for their future
success.

In conclusion, music plays a crucial role in society, enriching people's lives, uniting social groups,
and educating young children. While both the roles discussed in this essay are important, the
role of music in educating young children is more significant because it has a more significant
impact on the development of society.
