ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This Report is a formal statement of your child’s progress during the semester. The information contained in this report is a
summary of your child’s achievement and will be provided twice a year. The report provides an indication of a student’s
progress in the courses they are completing within their pattern of study.
You can ask the school to provide you with written information that clearly shows your child’s achievement in the subjects studied
in comparison to that of other students in their Year Level at the school. This information will show you the number of students in
each of the five achievement levels A-E.
INTERVIEW
This academic report should be used in conjunction with Parent Student Teacher Conferences held twice each year and each
student's own goal setting for improvement in the next reporting period. Please take the opportunity to meet with your student’s
teacher/s for additional follow up if required.

Common Grade Scale
The Common Grade Scale is used to report student achievement in all schools across New South Wales. This scale describes
student’s performance across an A to E grade scale. Please see the Common Grade Scale below for an indication of
achievement in each grade. It is weighted in accordance with the requirements of the NSW Education Standards Authority.
